`Nice true Blue rating system, but Star Wars better than Rushmore?  No way.'

`But your top ten movies, Geoff....  Mind you, I haven't seen most of them, but we did see Rushmore last night.  I was pretty tired, but generally sat there saying "huh?" most of the time.  I don't think it's a "comedy" -- I don't know what you'd call it.'

I liked "Arlington Road" although Jeff Bridges is NOT aging well and had his mouth open far too much for my personal taste.  I agree re Joan Cussack.  Frankly, I think it'll have a lot of Americans watching their neighbours FAR too much.  Really plays into the conspiracy fearmongers' hands.

I like "click here if you want me to ruin the surprise ending".
Since I havent seen any of those famous surprise ending movies
of the mid90s, and don't really intend to ever catch up (barring
finishing another dissertation in a town you teach in). I like
that.  Clayton strikes a blow for HTML!

I saw Dogma! I love Kevin Smith movies.  I would suggest you rewatch Chasing
AMy and view it as a building comptetion between two men and the previous
lovers of a woman.  Part of what made Dogma great to me is Smith's continued
use of characters which are related to characters in his first three movies.
You don't cathch these thing unless you've seen Mallrats, CLerks and
Chasing Amy several times, for example Dante Hicks, Gil Hicks and ????
Hicks, the reporter at the church are all played by Brian Holloway and all
three characters are related.  Banky and Brodie (both played by Jason Lee)
are cousins!  I caught several of those things watching Dogma that most
probably don't.  I will admit it had its dull moments but for the most part
I thought it was extremely funny!!!
